.: welcome to my web garage

Herein lies the ongoing life of my 1978 Corvette sport coupe. Powered by the Optional L-82 Engine and connected to the Close ratio 4-speed (M-21). This page and those to follow will outline my plans, my accomplishments (perhaps a few failures) and the status of this car. Purchased from a dealer in Indianapolis, Indiana. The car had a mere 68k miles on the clock, however it showed its many years of poor or non existent care. All that has changed... Follow along through the pages below and see what I have done.... and will do... to this car.

.:hey ...do it...now...

Hey hey.....Maybe you recognise those lines written by Robert Parisi of the iconic band Wild Cherry? from their biggest hit "Play that Funky Music". this song has become the theme song of my car, named by my friends "Wild cherry" not my name of course, but in our clique of automotive kooks, you dont get to name your own car.

Since I'm an amateur musician (emphasis on amateur) , a bass player to be precise, and am frankly just a little too, dare I say "white", to get a good funky bass groove on my car was so annointed. So read on and see whats new with "Wild Cherry"

.: Corvette 2.0

I guess its time to move on with this plan. Sitting down with a close bud of mine we came up with Corvette 2.0 The problem is that the work that I have done is an accumulation of work done over a decade. So as new changes and improvements are made, the old ones start to show their age. Corvette 2.0 is going to be an accellerated program to bring the interior and exterior up to the level of completion I have in my driveline. More to come.
